RailBus Scenic Passes are designed for the independent traveler, families or small groups, who are travelling together on the same routes, to the same destinations and want to get the best out of their New Zealand holiday and experience New Zealand's unique beauty with the benefits of train and coach travel to some of New Zealand's famous tourism regions and locations.

RailBus Scenic Passes allow you to travel on New Zealand's three long distance passenger train services between Auckland to Wellington, Christchurch to Picton and the Christchurch to Greymouth, ferry sailings between Wellington and Picton, travel on bus and coach services from Paihia to Invercargill and any places in between including Mt Cook and Waitomo Caves plus selected sightseeing options in Paihia in the Bay of Islands, Auckland, Waitomo Caves, Rotorua and return coach travel between Queenstown and Milford Sound.

RailBus Scenic Passes do not include any accommodation, entrance fees, meals or Milford Sound boat cruise which are additional.

RailBus Passes are valid for travel from from 25 September 2015 to 1 May 2016 & 24 September 2016 to 30 April 2017

Please note each traveller needs his or her own pass.
